Lil Wayne - God Bless Amerika

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Cool & Dre
Album:
I Am Not a Human Being II

Though Lil Wayne‘s last album was approximately 75 percent puns about oral sex, the YMCMB mogul did venture out of his comfort zone to drop a little social commentary on God Bless Amerika. Just released as his latest single, the joint features Weezy taking aim at the criminal justice system over moody production by Cool & Dre. Peppered with lines like “I’m just a nut tryin’ to bust a nut, in a nutshell,” his verses aren’t what you’d call focused, but director Elf Rivera sharpens the record’s political edge with his official visuals, which depict the strife-ridden living conditions in Wayne’s native Hollygrove, New Orleans. For Amerika and much more, check out I Am Not a Human Being II, available in stores and online as of March 26.
