Nearly a decade after Jay-Z and Beyonce hit us with their mega-collaboration ‘03 Bonnie & Clyde, it appears that a new duo is ready take the title of ‘12 Bonnie & Clyde (for some reason that doesn’t sound as cool as ‘03) . As a small taste of what fans can expect on their forthcoming joint mixtape, Bad Boy artist Los and Taylor Gang First Lady Lola Monroe have dropped their menacing title track. The duo seem to resurrect the gun-toting, bank robbing couple over producer Calvo‘s tense instrumental, touching on bank heists and hiding dough in tropical locales. As the only female emcee on Taylor Gang, Monroe puts in work on her 16, dropping a series of clever bars including the oh so catchy, “Still f**k with that Deniro like a Pesci fan.” While the duo plan to release a joint mixtape in the near future, details on the project remain scarce.
