Luck-One - Can’t Get Over You

Posted 5 years ago
Producer:
Tyler Smith
Album:
King Of The Northwest

This fool done went over my favorite Frankie Beverly and Maze song!! Already winning is DJ Booth regular Luck-One, a blessed emcee out of Portland, Oregon whose clovers seem to be stacked in his corner. Following behind the reflective track Breakthrough, Luck goes smooth and old-school with Can’t Get Over You, which I personally give a thumbs-up for the sample; shouts to producer Tyler Smith for adding a little spice to the already sweet classic from FBM. Flowing effortlessly, Luck One is cool as a fan but he has the right to be cocky; his style plays with speed and tongue twisters to display his wit. With a voice that will draw comparisons to many mainstream and underground emcee, it’s the lyrics that really make this rising rapper stand out, so listen close. Keep it locked, there’s more to come from Luck-One’s forthcoming album King Of The Northwest, dated to hit the Booth soon!
