Luke Christopher - Rhyme Like Me

When I was 10, all I could think about was the Y2K bug and what life would be like in post-apocalyptic suburbia. For Los Angeles dual threat Luke Christopher, however, thoughts of bringing that “groove thing back” and relatives giving rave reviews for his living room shows took precedence. Let’s just say that Luke was probably a bit more career oriented than me. On Rhyme Like Me, Luke, as always, lays down a piano melody that’s reminiscent of a saloon from the Wild West, over which he give listeners a short autobiography on his dreams of the big leagues. I know that he wasn’t the only one to rap along to songs like Forget About Dre when those first few notes came on the radio or MTV (you know, when they played videos). There is no word on where this song will end up, so consider it an early Easter gift if you’re into that kind of thing.
