Luke James - Dancing in the Dark

Producer:
The Alliance
Album:

I’m not sure how many classic rock heads frequent the Booth but, if you happen to be one of them, you may be in for a disappointment. Luke James‘s latest promo record has absolutely nothing to do with the Bruce Springsteen joint of the same name. Hopefully you can find it in yourself to look past that and hit play, though, because the cut is a worthy listen in its own right. With beatsmith The Alliance‘s synth ambiance and funk-guitar riffs as his backdrop, the Island/Polydor signee showcases his powerful pipes as he urges a recalcitrant shawty to “let [her] love come down.” Fans will be able to find Dancing and much more on Luke James’s self-titled debut full-length, slated to hit record stores and online retailers Tuesday, September 23.
