Mac Miller - Cold Feet

Road to a Million Series

Whether you love him, hate him or feel indifferent, Mac Miller is a fast rising star and with good reason. The Pittsburgh-bred emcee’s boyish appeal and easy going nature are easily translated into his Twitter account, where Mac has released new music every time he reaches a significant milestone in his Road to a Million followers campaign. So far, the kid with the Best Day Ever has passed the 800K threshold and subsequent leak Cold Feet is his most ambitious to date.  Compared to Miller’s previous releases, which were slow and melodic, Cold Feet is dripping with hidden strings and pounding drums courtesy of Clams Casino. Clocking in under a little less than two minutes, Miller sounds partially amorphic here with whimsical punchlines (“b*tches” couldn’t touch me with a Facebook poke”) and that giggly laugh of his that reinforces that he’s having fun with this. While Feet won’t be found on it, the Rostrum Records emcee’s debut Blue Slide Park is due to drop later this year.
