Road to a Million Series

Ah, the Family Reunion... a time to catch up with far-flung relations, enjoy good food, watch your one uncle slug back a bathtub’s worth of martinis (or red wine, or PBR’s…) and start sh*t with your other uncle…. in short, good times. If you haven’t been able to get together with your clan this summer, don’t fret—Pittsburgh wunderkind Mac Miller issues an open invitation to fans on The Miller Family Reunion, the latest release in his Road to a Million Twitter campaign (he just reached 700,000 followers). Big Jerm handles production duties, departing from the narcotically hazy stylings of his recent work with Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Curren$y to craft a lush funk/soul backdrop for the freestyle series alumnus’ carefree bars. Packed with epic squirt gun battles, three-legged races (ending, of course, in tears), crunked grandmas dancing the Electric Slide and more, this cut is as catchy as it is nostalgia-drenched. If you’re digging it, stay tuned for further entries in Miller’s ongoing series, as well as keeping it locked for release details on his and Chevy Woods’ forthcoming Blue Slide Park street album.
