Maffew Ragazino - La Cosa Nostra

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Jimmy Dukes
Album:

Maffew Ragazino isn’t a member of any Mafia family that I know of, but he shares at least one trait with the venerable crime syndicate: he’s doing his own thing. On a fresh street single off his next project, the Brooklyn buzzmaker uses their “true name,” “La Cosa Nostra,” to lay emphasis on his self-sufficient, individualistic approach to the hustle. Beatsmith Jimmy Dukes‘s majestic soul-vocal loops set the mood as he outlines the lofty scale of his ambitions and “sh*t[s] on his enemies.” Ragazino’s clearly in a lane of his own, but does that lane lead to the top of the rap game? Debate away—and keep it locked for the latest on his Brownsville’s Jesus LP, which currently lacks a solid drop date.
