Featuring:
Producer:
SB
Album:
Write History

It may sound like a stereotype, but the truth is that as a Los Angeles resident I’m surrounded by people who came west to pursue their dreams, but instead found the road to fame paved with broken glass; and I’m not alone. Las Vegas representer Marion Write dedicates his new track Dreams to everyone who has found themselves derailed while pursuing the glamorous life. Backed by ethereal, hypnotizing production from beatsmith SB, as well as high quality vocals from newcomer Eden Alexis on the hook and HerStory creator Dominique Larue, Dreams is first and foremost Write’s show as gets on his storytelling tip with verses that may not be pretty, but are brutally honest look at the consequences of getting lost in the game: “The man’s left in his Jetta / with a hollow in his skull and brain chunks on his sweater / I’m just sayin, life over money is way better.” Amen. For more relentlessly intelligent hip-hop like Dreams be sure to check out his upcoming project Write History, mixed by DJ RTC, due to drop soon.
