Marion Write hasn’t been seen on our pages for a hot minute—Allrite hit the Booth back in October—but, rest assured, he and his crew still have the streets Locked Down. Released in honor of the Vegas representative’s birthday this past Friday, this loosie finds Write brushing haters and fakes aside as he asserts his continuing dominance over the game. KingVay does his thing on the production tip, cooking up a scintillating, synth-driven backdrop for the emcee’s imperious bars. This promotional cut isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, but those feeling it can expect more from Marion Write in the near future. Goodness Gracious, his latest collaborative set with DJ Finyl (as The Greater Good) is scheduled for release this June, followed by solo street album To Love and Conquer 2 in the fall.
