Mavado - So Suicidal

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Boi-1da
Album:
Kiss The Ring

Mavado is as attached to his skin as the next guy, but he holds no illusions about the dangers of his line of work. Though he considers himself a “gangsta for life,” he’s well aware that a stray bullet could bring that life to an end sooner rather than later. On So Suicidal, the We the Best recording artist laces a shadowy, organ-led Boi-1da instrumental with lyrical snapshots from a world where death lurks around every corner, calling on the Man Upstairs to offer him an escape route. While there’s currenly no word on a new project from Mavado, this dark reggae banger can be found (under its former title, Suicidal Thoughts) on DJ Khaled‘s Kiss the Ring LP, available in stores and online as of August 21.
