They say Roaches are the only animals strong enough to survive a nuclear apocalypse, so it makes sense that ¡MAYDAY!, one of the only bands strong enough to keep making original music in the mostly barren wasteland that is modern hip-hop, have adopted the lowly cockroach as a mascot of sorts. After releasing both a remix and their Take Me To Your Leader album, the Miami crew returns full circle with a brand new video for project standout Roaches, which means that in addition to a hypnotically captivating beat from Plex Luthor, the group’s trademark live instrumentation and rhymes from Bernz and Wrekonize we now get a glimpse into the…um…unique life of Sylvester. You’re just going to have to watch to figure out what I mean. Speaking of which, while this video isn’t NSFW in the “new leaked Kim Kardashian sextape” sense, it is NSFW in the “if you work in a place with a water cooler, you probably don’t want your boss to catch you watching this” sense.
