The Weighting Game

A 21-year-old rap buzzmaker hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Merkules makes his grand entrance into The DJBooth with freshly-released single SIDE-EFEX. Part of the unsigned spitter’s next independent full-length, this pensive jam offers a glimpse into the mind of an indie rhymesayer on the come-up. Kid P‘s keyboard/guitar arpeggios and ambient synths set the mood as Merk describes his past as a young’n with fantasies of rap stardom, and a weed and whiskey-loving adult in the process of turning his dreams into reality. The Weighting Game has yet to receive a spot on Stealth Bomb‘s release calendar, but we’ll keep you supplied with the latest news and tunes leading up to its evental arrival.
