Michael Jackson - Blue Gangsta

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Timbaland
Album:

When I read the title, Blue Gangsta, there are immediately two (slightly amusing) thoughts that spring to mind. The first is a sad, down on his luck 50 Cent, and the second is Snoop Dogg, reincarnated as a Smirf. If I was forced to choose a third, I guess the latest single from the late Michael Jackson‘s “new” album, XSCAPE, would be my selection. Over some modern, spruced up production from the veteran musical muscle of Timbaland, Jackson asks listeners what they’d do when confronted with a Blue Gangsta. To which most listeners will answer: “Um, turn the volume louder?” The record follows the Justin Timberlake-assisted lead single, Love Never Felt So Good, which earned a solid average rating from our readers. XSCAPE, featuring eight previously-unheard records, in both original and reworked form, will be in stores next week, May 13.
