At tonight’s Billboard Music Awards viewers got a glimpse of what only a few years ago would have been considered a miracle; Michael Jackson performing his posthumous song, Slave to the Rhythm. It reportedly took them over six months to construct the holographic performance, with some (so far) pretty mixed reviews. Is this an incredible new way to see artists “live”, even after they’ve passed? Or was the holographic MJ a disappointment at best, and a disgrace at worst?
