Normally when a group of slightly intimidating rappers release a song titled I Love You I tend to get a little nervous. But despite it’s title something tells me that we’re in good hands with Mike Beatz and Adonis’ latest single I Love You, which features Hip-Hop heavyweights Guilty Simpson, Sean Price and Killah Trakz. Produced by Adonis, Love kicks off with a fitting soul sample that eventually transforms into a head-nod-worthy banger of a beat. While you won’t find much rap romanticism or “roses are red, violets are blue” rhymes on I Love You, Killah Trakz concluding lines act as more than a tone setter: “I’ll see ya when I see ya cause you’ll beg to come back/But I wish you burn in hell signing off Killah Trakz.” Feeling it? Then head over to iTunes for the full download of I Love You.
