Mike Dash-E - Why They Never Say My Name

Posted 4 years ago

Residing in the Bay Area but originally hailing from the Phillipines, Booth newcomer Mike Dash-E draws attention to the poverty and struggle plaguing his native country in the official video for Why They Never Say My Name. While the rhymes Mike delivers over Bedrock‘s synth-driven production are predominantly braggadocious, the accompanying visuals offer listeners an up-close and personal look at the dire living conditions in his homeland. The artist’s latest street release, #IAMHUSTLE2, is scheduled to drop July 1. In the meantime, Why They Never Say My Name will be available for digital purchase on iTunes, with all proceeds going towards charitable organization Malaya Kids Ministries.
