Mike Schpitz - Mike Is Like (Freestyle)

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
DJ Premier
Album:
Mike Murder

Hailing from the rarely hailed city of Topeka, Kansas, Mike Schpitz is a relative newcomer to the DJBooth’s pages, but he’s already managed to win over (most) of Booth nation with his wit and unique rhyme style. Well, Schpitz is back and flexing his freestyle muscles again (see his exclusive Booth freestyle) on Mike is Like, making its worldwide debut right here, right now. As we heard on Marky’s Full Clip freestyle, you’d be hard pressed to do better than a DJ Premier beat, and here Mike murders the Premier production we first heard on NasNas Is Like (get it?). I’m sure someone will find a way, but it’s hard to hate on rhymes like “Mike is like a pack of Mike & Ikes to a diabetic…I’m dope enough to ignite a Richard Pryor fire session.” Slow down Mike, you’re killin’ em. Mike is Like is the first leak off Schpitz’ upcoming, Booth-sponsored album Mike Murder, due to drop in June. In the meantime, keep it locked for two more premieres coming this month!
