Chi-town native Mikkey Halstead breaks back onto The DJBooth with his robust rhymebook, brushing off haters with his new single, Weak Mutha F**kaz.  Producer Don Cannon lays the foundation by sampling a classic quote from Puff, “Weak mother f**kaz just wanna bring you down,” which Mikkey makes his new motto. Halsted exposes no weaknesses on the record, rattling off reasons why the rats don’t make it and only the strong survive. Closing out the second verse by saying, “Never felt your pain, but wanna wear your chain, they wanna reap your harvest without enduring the rain”, it’s evident Mikkey has broken away from the belly of the beast and into a life where jealous leeches continue to bite his success. Prepare yourself for an August 8 release of his forthcoming album, Castro, executive produced by Don Cannon and No I.D..
