Mikky Ekko - Smile

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Elof Loelv
Album:
Time

Need a little cheering up? Given the title of Mikky Ekko latest feature, his debut single and the first release off his upcoming freshman set, you might think you’ve come to the right place, but the record’s very first line reveals a strong undercurrent of bittersweetness: “Smile, the worst is yet to come.” Be that as it may, the joint’s overall vibe remains uplifting, thanks to the RCA Records signee’s anthemic chorus and Elof Loelv‘s slowly crescendoing production. Time has yet to receive a drop date from the label brass, but those feeling it can cop the record now on iTunes.
