Mod Sun ft. Pat Brown - Happy As F*ck

Happy As F*ck EP

There’s rich, and then there’s rich as f**k.  Some music is dope, but some music is dope as f**k. Adding everyone’s favorite four letter word to any sentence elevates things to the next level, so when Mod Sun says he’s not just happy, he’s Happy as F**k, you know the man is really, really happy. For his latest release, the title track off his upcoming EP of the same name, the hip-hop hippie grabs fellow sunshine lover Cisco Adler to provide some appropriately light production that’s a mellow blend of acoustic guitar, moving percussion and, of course, a hand clap break down section. For his part Mod delivers more of what has gained him an intensely loyal, albeit usually intensely high, following, laying down rhymes about the good life on the verses and then bringing in Pat Brown for the hook. Honestly, if this doesn’t at least get you to crack a smile, you’re probably too far gone to be saved. Those hungry for more positive hip-hop can look forward to the arrival of the Happy as F*ck EP, due to arrive in June, as well as catch Mod Sun performing at this summer’s Vans Warped Tour.
