Mod Sun - My Hippy

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Dave Cappa
Album:
Untitled (TBD)

You may see the title of Mod Sun’s latest feature, My Hippy, and think you are in for a flower-powered, anti-war anthem. If so, you would be wrong because the Minnesota emcee’s latest is not even in the same musical universe. Backed by a brain melting, Electronic/Trap inspired beat courtesy of producer Dave Cappa, Sun manages to ignore the futuristic, flashy ladies and an appearance from the “Sunsest Blvd Jesus” long enough body the track with a high-energy, speedy flow filled with liquor filled, in-your face bars. There is no word yet on the tile or release date of the upcoming project that this single will find a home on, but you can say “What’s Up my hippy?” to him on the road, as Sun will be co-headlining the Road Trippin’ Tour with Cisco Adler, starting on February 1st.
