Though he’s already a popular act in his hometown, it wasn’t until London’s Mr. Hudson contributed background vocals (Paranoid) and co-production (Street Lights) to Kanye West‘s 808s & Heartbreak that he got an opportunity to cross over worldwide.  Now signed to G.O.O.D. Music, Mr. Hudson is about to introduce his sound to listeners everywhere with studio album Straight No Chaser.  On his debut worldwide single, Hudson shows that he knows how to woo a fine lass; she may want a shining star, but he’s offering to be so much brighter than that—in other words, a Supernova.  In addition to delivering an Autotuned second verse and backing vocals, Kanye West backs Hudson with a synth-heavy instrumental.  Featuring star performances from both collaborators, Supernova has the potential to become one of the year’s biggest hits.  Straight No Chaser will arrive on August 3rd in the UK, and in North American markets the next day—bottoms up, Booth-heads!
