What’s better than rappers doing a collabo album? Well…pho, Shock Top beer, college football, and a couple other things I can’t name, but that’s about it. If you’re also a fan of collab albums than good news is right around the corner as Cali spitters MURS and Fashawn have teamed up for a new album, titled This Generation, which will be released by the fine folks at Duck Down Music. And what a better way to make this announcement resonant throughout hip-hop’s campus than by releasing a video for lead single Slash Gordan? Produced by Beatnick & K-Salaam, who will handle the entire album’s production, Slash Gordan features a rock yet island vibe where both emcees trade off bars to dope effect. If Slash has you hyped up for the album, hang on - September 25 will be here before you know it.
