Before the polls even opened in California, Nas was hard at work on a brand new record.  Beginning where he left off on Black President, the Queensbridge emcee wrote and recorded Election Night, an inspirational tribute to the impact many feel that Barack Obama will have on America.  Over a brand new production from DJ Green Lantern, which does contain some bassline elements from the aforementioned Black President, Nas mourns the loss of Obama‚Äôs grandmother (who passed away on Monday), and admits that he has never before taken the time to vote in an election.  This evening, as millions of Americans gather around their television sets to watch Election Night coverage, a President Elect will be named.  The question remains: will change follow?
