Nelly ft. Murphy Lee & City Spud - Go

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Drumma Boy
Album:
Scorpio Season

I don’t know about y’all, but a song like Go makes me all nostalgic. If you were to mention the name City Spud to anyone who grew up in the 90’s, they most likely would be able to spit the St. Lunatic rapper’s entire verse from Nelly‘s Country Grammar hit single Ride wit Me without hesitation. Heck, I wore that song out on my portable CD player! This is one of the reasons for my temporary bout of excitement over the Deerty Entertainment head honcho’s latest street single, which also features fellow St. Lunatic Murphy Lee. Even though we’ve flipped the calendar to a new decade, Nelly and the St. Lunatics are up to their same old tricks. Producer Drumma Boy’s guitar laden beat provides a working platform for the trio of emcees, who describe a day in the life of the St. Lunatics; which can include sipping on Moscato, staying out all night, and mingling with up to four ladies at once. Go, along with C-N-F, featured last week, can be found on Nelly’s forthcoming mixtape, Scorpio Season, out tomorrow.
