Nicatyne - Workaholic

Producer:
Nicatyne
Album:
Lost Angeles LP

If hard work really paid off, then minimum wage-earners would be millionaires and Paris Hilton would be penniless. Thankfully for us hip-hop heads, that unfairness doesn’t stop enterprising individuals like Sacramento-born, L.A.-based rapper/producer Nicatyne from pouring their blood, sweat and tears into music, in hopes that they’ll someday be able to make a comfortable living doing what they love. On his latest single and first Booth feature, the self-proclaimed “broke Workaholic” gives us a little insight into what makes him tick, lacing his own ‘80s pop-informed production with rhymes reflecting his determination to succeed despite the thankless nature of the hustle. For more from this diligent hip-hop hopeful, check out his Lost Angeles tape, released August 28, for free streaming and digital download.
