Nickelus F ft. Drake - Number 15

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Jake One
Album:
Vices

Though Nickelus F. was a close homie and behind-the-scenes collaborator of Drake in 2010, their association faded in the intervening years, leading some to speculate about a falling-out. Whatever may or may not have transpired between the artists, it appears to be water under the bridge, as the Richmond, Virginia mainstay’s latest single find him trading verses with the T-Dot heavyweight. The reliably-dope Jake One mans the boards on Number 15, creating a low-key, guitar-laced backdrop for the collaborators’ contrasting perspectives on the fast life; whereas Drizzy sounds characteristically blasé as he surveys the opulence around him, Nick evinces a burning desire to get his paper up and get out the ‘hood. Packing this single, the previously-featured My Third Cuzzin and more, Vices dropped yesterday for free digital download.
