Nino Bless ft. Ness Lee - Girl vs. World

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Nemisis and Toba
Album:
R.O.A.M 3

Absent from our pages since dropping off The Watchmen in January of 2013, Nino Bless returns with a record dedicated to the women in the house. Don’t be so quick to bust out the silk sheets and scented candles, though; making its world premiere in The DJBooth, Girl vs. World is a far cry from what we typically think of as a ladies’ jam. Over Nemesis‘s moody, sample-laced production (complete with added instrumentation by Toba), Bless offers a thought-provoking perspective on the double-standards, unrealistic expectations and exacting criticism half of humanity has to grapple with on the daily. Ness Lee contributes a sung hook, as well as handling the record’s final verse. For Girl vs. World and much more, cop Nino’s R.O.A.M 3 mixtape, scheduled for free digital release later this week.
