Nipsey Hussle ft. Dom Kennedy & Cobby Supreme - Checc Me Out

Featuring:
Producer:
1500 or Nothin and The Futuristiks
Album:

Like many rappers, Nipsey Hussle could be accurately described as a narcissist. But can you blame him? If I’d clawed my way up from the bottom like the Los Angeles mainstay, I’d be feeling myself, too. On mixtape lead single Checc Me Out, the Slauson Boy invites listeners to join him in marveling at his many impressive achievements. Despite his justifiably inflated ego, the emcee thoughtfully leaves room for the rhymes of two West Coast colleagues. Dom Kennedy and Cobby Supreme jump on 1400 or Nothin and The Futuristiks’ hazy synth beat to outline their own rags-to-riches stories in self-assured guest 16s. Check Me Out is part of Hussle’s Crenshaw mixtape, set to drop digitally on Tuesday, October 8. One week later, on the 15th, Kennedy will be releasing a digital album titled Get Home Safely.
