Nipsey Hussle ft. Snoop Dogg & Pooh Bear - The Life

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
King David
Album:
Untitled Collabo Mixtape

Hardcore West Coast heads might want to sit down for this one: Nipsey Hussle, the Booth favorite who’s made it his mission to bring that South Central State of Mind back to the game, is working on a collaborative mixtape with one of his region’s very biggest D-O-double-Gs: the only and only Snoop Dogg!  The project’s first official leak finds the up-and-coming buzzmaker and the smooth-talking vet trading wistful bars about—what else—the Gangsta’s Life  that made them both the artists they are today.  Hussle’s enthusiastic mic presence and Snoop’s understated yet engagingly unpredictable style complement each other just as well as fans would expect, and it’s all tied together with some compulsively head-bobbing boardwork; King David‘s sun-drenched guitar accompaniment and guest feature Pooh Bear‘s R&B hook make the street life seem almost… refreshing?  If West Coast hip-hop’s glory days still have a hold on you, pick up a copy of Hussle’s debut LP when it (tentatively) hits stores on 12/22, and keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest on his and Snoop’s forthcoming mixtape.
