Nottz ft. Jay Rock & W.o.l.l - Somebody Tell ‘Em

Featuring:
Producer:
Nottz
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Nobody likes to be the bearer of bad news, but it has to be said: the majority of those who claim to be gangster are no such thing. And, why would they want to be? Contrary to popular belief, constantly dodging jail time and stray bullets ain’t exactly fun. On new single Somebody Tell ‘Em, Virginia emcee/producer Nottz reminds us that “real street n**gas” aren’t high-rolling players; they’re desperate individuals who stay strapped out of well-justified fear for their lives. Joining the headliner over his own mid-tempo, guitar-loop production, Black Hippy member Jay Rock and Compton rhymesayer WOLL help deflate wannabe G’s’ pretensions by recounting some of their own experiences in the streets of L.A. Somebody Tell ‘Em isn’t part of any larger project, but those who appreciated this musical dose of reality can keep their browsers locked for more fresh tunes from all involved.
