Octave Minds ft. Chance the Rapper & The Social Experiment - Tap Dance

Featuring:
Producer:
Octave Minds
Album:
Octave Minds

A newly-launched collaborative endeavor from Boys Noize and Chilly Gonzales, Octave Minds makes its grand entrance into the Booth with Tap Dance, single numero uno off their forthcoming, self-titled debut full-length. While it’s the guest rapper, rising star Chance the Rapper, who’s likely to catch listeners’ eyes and ears first, it’s the synergy between him and the headliners that’s truly makes the cut. OM’s syncopated 6/8 rhythm, wreathed in effervescent keyboard and brass chords, might be too offbeat and overpowering for your average emcee, but the Windy City phenom dances over the beat like Sammy Davis, Jr. Octave Minds (the LP) is slated to drop Tuesday, September 15. In the meantime, of course, we’ll keep you supplied with the latest news and tunes.
