Producer:
Caddy of the Sky
Album:
Road to MOR

When you’re listing off dope emcees hailing from Canada’s biggest metropolis, you Can’t Forget about Omar LinX. While he isn’t as well-known as Drizzy or Kardinal Offishall (yet), he’s got skills for days, as he proves once again on his latest promotional single. Premiered last week on Thissongissick.com, this mixtape inclusion finds producer Caddy of the Sky flipping a sunny sample from The 5th Dimension’s California Soul as the Jackie Boy recording artist touts his abilities on the mic and looks forward to his inevitable conquest of the hip-hop game. With perfect confidence, he spits, “[You can] see it in my eyes, I’mma keep it till the end / I don’t need to roll again, ain’t no secret I’mma win.” This joint is the first of several to be released from upcoming release, Road to MOR, a precursor to the eventual full-length version of the project.
