P.SO the Earth Tone King ft. Denitia Odigie - Floating

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Soul Academy
Album:
Gateway to Greatness LP

Fresh off crushing his competition on LP single Poppy Seed P.SO takes a moment to kick back and let his mind wander on the follow-up. Though this record finds the Earth Tone King “Floating on a dream,” there’s nothing lightweight about his lyrical reflections; in between rhyming about his own ambitions, struggles and triumphs, he touches on the American legacy of slavery and the power of meditation and free-thought to keep one centered.Soul Academy provide a suitably mellow electronic backdrop for P.SO’s contemplative bars, and Denita Odigie ties the package together with some ear-pleasing chorus vocals. Like what you’re hearing? More hot beats and thought-provoking verses await on new studio album Gateway to Greatness, scheduled to drop digitally January 22, 2013.
