Planet Asia - You Go Slavia

Frank The Butcher & Paul Mighty
All Is Fair

Fresh off earning positive reader reviews for EP single Diamonds, Dollars & Gold, West Coast underground mainstay Planet Asia bounces back with You Go Slavia, a new release off producer Frank the Butcher‘s forthcoming compilation. Despite the punny title, this joint doesn’t have a whole lot to do with the Eastern European country. Rather, the record sees Planet Asia letting loosie with a dense, wide-ranging barrage of braggadocio, political commentary and sheer bugged-out craziness (“I don’t mind, I place piranhas in my paradigm / With a pair a’ dimes geekin’ off the herojuana.”). To back his relentless bars, Frank and co-producer Paul Mighty craft a grimy beat built around a chopped organ loop. The BAU-sponsored All Is Fair LP has yet to receive a drop date, but Asia fans can still cop his and DirtyDiggs‘s recently-released High End Cloths EP for free streaming in the Booth.
