Playa Rae & Trey C - Back of the Tour Bus

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Shabaam Sahdeeq
Album:
Cheap Wine x Vintage Rhymes 2

Trey C, the Northern California rhymesayer who just hooked up with J.Lately to drop Score One for the Good Guys, has come together with Bay Area buzzmaker Playa Rae to form I.L.A.M. (Independent Like A Muthaf**ker). Don’t be surprised if, after they drop their latest joint project, the collaborators hit the road together; as evidenced by the lead single (a Booth-exclusive world premiere!), they’re already pondering the crazy sh*t that could go down in the Back of the Tour Bus. Over the sliced-n-diced guitar/vocal samples from a Shabaam Sahdeeq industry instrumental (Soundclash), the rhymesayers envision themselves inviting a couple dimes back for some weed, liquor and “small talk” after the show. Cheap Wine x Vintage Rhymes 2 is scheduled to drop digitally December 31. In the meantime, of course, fans can keep it locked to The DJBooth for all the latest song releases.
