Playboy Tre ft. Lil Jon - Ready Go

KD
Album:
The Last Call Mixtape

The crowd cheers while the visiting team leaves the field. The home team stands triumphant while Ready Go plays through the stadium. Imagine it. I can, and so did Playboy Tre. Known in the Booth thanks to an exclusive freestyle and records like We Are the Robots, Tre continues his quest to step into the national spotlight (see his verse on B.o.B.’s Bet I Bust) with his new single. Featuring Crunk Juice pal Lil’ Jon, Ready Go is a soulful yet crunk (yes I still use the term “crunk”) anthem-type jam produced by KD, whose snares and strings laden beat galore had me head-nodding like DJay from Hustle & Flow. Vocally the ATL heavyweight hits hard, paying tribute to fallen comrades and letting the world know no one can stop him, while Lil’ Jon provides us with background vocals on the hook that sets us ready to put on the pads and rush onto the field. If you’re looking to get hyped for the next big game (and throw back a few drinks), be sure to check out Tre’s new mixtape, The Last Call, available now online.
