Playboy Tre ft. P Dukes, Bobby Creekwater, Jarren Benton, Homebwoi & Bohagon - Shot of Rum

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Black Metaphor
Album:
Liquor Store Mascot 2: Patron & Instrumentals

After Playboy Tre‘s Care After Me release (shouts out to 1st Impression Studios) it felt like the world was being introduced to a southernplayalisticcadillacfunkinmusic type of mixtape. Sometime later, Bobby Ray’s right-hand man goes in another direction with his release of Shot of Rum, letting folks know he’s here to deliver some true versatility. Recruiting a whole slew of folks to rock over a truck-rattling beat, Tre drops a tag-team of a track that lets Atlanta’s hotboys Bobby Creekwater, Jarren Benton, Homebwoi and Bohagon represent the Peach State. Straightforward and steady, Rum is held down by a Nightmare on Elm Street production from Black Metaphor with its funeral-esque symphony and super-necessary bass. This track was the perfect way to answer Left Eye’s (RIP) question: “What about yo’ friends?” Well dag on it, Tre got ‘em all right here. Watch for more from Playboy Tre on Liquor Store Mascot 2: Patron & Instrumentals, a definite play for you and all your people.
