P.R ft. Awon - Next Destination (Remix)

Moment In Time

Last we heard from P.R, it was late August and the Australian beatsmith had teamed up with Skyzoo and Substantial to bring us EP inclusion Set the Scene. Whereas that joint seemed primarily designed to showcase his guests’ dazzling pen games (as well as his own skills behind the boards), this freshly-minted cut presents a more distinct philosophical outlook on life. On Next Destination, presented here in its officially remixed form, Brooklyn’s own Awon encourages listeners to get right with God and make every single day count. P.R tempers the heavy message with some light, breezy boardwork, garnishing a boom-bap rhythm with vibrant brass and vocal samples. You can find the original version of Next Destination and much more on the producer’s Moment in Time EP, now available for free download via the artist’s Bandcamp.
