Price - Dear N***a

A resident of inner-city Boston, Booth newcomer Price is confronted daily by the poverty, violence and struggle that plague much of black America. On his debut single and first DJBooth feature, Dear N**ga, the Ill Adrenaline/Soul Tools signee pens an open letter to his people about the problems that face them, as well as their prospects for the future. While verse one deals with drugs, gang culture and fatherlessness, Price spends the following 16 celebrating the distance Africans-Americans have come, toasting the successes of everyone from P. Diddy, to Michael Eric Dyson, to Maya Angelou. His gritty, yet ultimately uplifting bars come backed by Confidence‘s head-noddable, sampled production. Details on the project to which this record will be attached have yet to be announced. As always, though, fans can keep it locked to our pages for the latest news and tunes.
