ProbCause - Black and White

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Wes P. and Doc The Mindbenda
Album:
The Recipe: Volume 2

Not glimpsed on our pages since showcasing his icy flows on March’s SUBZERO, ProbCause returns to ring in the summer with Black & White, the follow-up single off his next street release. Over Wes P. and Doc The Mindbender‘s grimy, hard-hitting sample work, the Chi-town repper “get[s] it crackin’ like an iTunes blast,” unleashing bar after bar of witty wordplay and trash-talk. Not feeling his verses? Then you might not be part of Prob’s target audience. As the emcee bluntly puts it, “I’m switchin’ up my dialect to get you on my wavelength / So if you can’t relate it’s ‘cause I don’t know how a lame thinks.” Those who do like what they’re hearing can watch our pages for more fresh cuts leading up to the artist’s The Recipe: Volume 2 tape. Featuring guest appearances by Chance The Rapper, Action Bronson, Add-2 and more, the project is scheduled for digital release on Tuesday, July 16.
