Prolyphic x Buddy Peace - Business As Usual

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Buddy Peace
Album:
Working Man LP

Today marks the first DJBooth feature for emcee Prolyphic (an obvious pun off of the English word “prolific”) and his producer in-crime across the pond, Buddy Peace. Lead single Business as Usual is a look through at the world through the eyes of a struggling human being. On the mic Prolyphic dishes out rhymes, delving into the pain of being a working class citizen, while the looped sample in the background, along with the rough sounding breaks, gives Business as Usual a Golden Age feel and a chance for the listener to really connect with what is being said. As Strange Famous Records let us know in 2008, when they discovered Prolyphic on his critically acclaimed Ugly Truth project, the man’s music is something special. For more, be sure to to cop his Working Man album, due out April 30.
