Plenty of rappers claim to spit fire, but sadly most couldn’t produce a lyrical flame worthy of a Bic. In his latest creation Fire, Chi-city phenom Pugs Atomz delivers some legitimate heat as he puts his seamless flow and creativity to work over masterful production from The Beat Slammers. The heavily orchestrated beat matches well with Atomz’ thoughtful and well-executed rhymes, and will hopefully give listeners some Fire to warm up next to as the weather turns colder. The up-and-coming northerner (and contributor to the Booth’s exclusive freestyle series) has been hard at work, just finishing his U.S. tour and heading to Europe to build anticipation for his upcoming Roof Top LP from SoFlo Entertainment, due out soon.
