Born 2 Win

Growing up in the projects of Cleveland, rapper QP had to be “man of the house” as early as 5 years old.  Unlike many of his peers, however, he stayed away from negative behaviors, choosing to go straight to hip-hop as a way to make a better life for himself and his family.  Now 22 years old and signed to independent powerhouse SMC Recordings, QP maintains that Born 2 Win attitude that led him to early success; and, using a fast-paced flow reminiscent of his hometown group, Bone Thugs, he describes the lifestyle that’s The Norm 4 Me.  Along with Styles‘s brass-heavy beat, The Norm 4 Me brings a unique view to some of hip-hop’s most typical topics.  For more of what could be the future of Midwest hip-hop, check out Born 2 Win when it’s released this winter.
