Quadron - Hey Love (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Producer:
Ryan Hemsworth
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Introduced to our pages several months ago with the Kendrick Lamar-assisted Better Off, Danish electronic duo Quadron return to The DJBooth with a fresh remix of recent single Hey Love. Ryan Helmsworth mans the boards on this rendition of the cut. In place of group member’s Robin Hannibal‘s minimal, hip-shaking original beat, the Canadian DJ/producer crafts an atmospheric synth/string groove that foregrounds the pain and frustration in the record’s lyrics. Frontwoman Coco B.‘s verses are left intact, but Hannibal replaces the chorus with some mesmerizing chopped and looped vocal fragments. Feeling it? You can find the album version of Hey Love and much more on Quadron’s Avalanche LP, available in stores and online as of May.
