R. Kelly ft. DJ Khaled & Ace Hood - Its On

Posted about 4 years ago
Featuring:
Album:
Black Panties

Damn. When I heard that R. Kelly had a new video out I was hoping it’d be the next installment of the Trapped in the Closet series that he swears is coming. But while it may not be the video of my dreams, new single It’s On is a major offering in its own right. While we’re still waiting to find out the producer’s name, we can say that the mystery beatsmith has crafted a synth drenched instrumental perfect for a video set in a strip

gentlemen’s club. In other news DJ Khaled contributes, well, his usual assortment of ad-libs while Ace Hood jumps in for a solid ending guest verse. As always though the star of the show is Kells, who delivers a stream of typically catchy melodies and steam of consciousness lyrics. Fans of It’s On can look forward to much more sex music on Robert Sylvester’s upcoming Black Panties project, not to be confused with his also upcoming Write Me Back album, which features charting single Share My Love.
