Radio Traffic ft. Snoop Dogg - Cali Livin

Featuring:
Producer:
DemKatz
Album:
None (Promo Single)

With temperatures in my home city (Minneapolis) at 20 degrees and only going lower, outdoor recreation without a heavy coat, boots, mittens and balaclava has become life-threatening, if not utterly impossible. As much as I love strolling the arctic tundra and scoping out chicks in parkas, I can’t say I’m not jealous of those still able to kick it at the beach with babes in bikinis. On new promo single Cali Livin, Golden State newcomers Radio Traffic give those in chillier climes a taste of what they’re missing. DemKatz’ synth-sizzling reinterpretation of The Mamas and the Papas’ classic California Dreaming sets the mood, banging in the back as vocalists Mista Perkins, X2, and V New depict the joys of life on the Left Coast in infectious sung and flowed verses. Heavyweight guest Snoop Dogg brings his usual, laid-back swag to the front, waxing poetic about the simple pleasures of his high-rolling lifestyle (“Kush, blunts, Henny & Coke / A cute little chick who’ll do what you want…”) Does this aural ray of sunshine leave you craving more? Stay tuned—Cali Livin will appear on their forthcoming self-titled album, due out in April.
