Raheem DeVaughn - Wrong Forever

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Carvin & Ivan
Album:
Untitled (TBD)

Cheating may be fun in the short-term, but you’ve got to live with the guilt, and the consequences of doing a loved one dirty for the rest of your life. Just ask Raheem Devaughn, who illustrates the pitfalls of playerism on Wrong Forever, a previously-leaked cut scheduled for inclusion on his forthcoming album. Carvin & Ivan (also the producers of concurrently-released single Love Connection) man the boards, layering 8-bit synths over a smooth piano accompaniment as the singer describes how his penchant for acting like Hugh Hefner cost him the love of the one woman he truly cared about. The LP to which this rueful ballad is attached has yet to receive either a title or a drop date, but we in The DJBooth will keep you supplied with all the latest news and tunes.
