Rakim - Bring It On

Producer:

Album:
Unreleased

Every artist claims to have a “vault” of unreleased music. Album cuts, unfinished records, remixes, reprises, you name it. Fortunately for us, the vault in which Bring It On was extracted from just so happens to belong to legendary MC, Rakim. Catching dust since ’95, producer Dominic Owen took it upon himself to break out his Swiffer, clean off the vinyl, and let this baby loose for public consumption. For that we thank you, Dominic. As Owen rhythmically laced the beat with gloomy drum kicks and vinyl scratches at Brooklyn’s High Class Studios, The Master meticulously laid his refined raps to create something truly timeless. This marks the second unreleased record let loose by Mr. Owen in just the past few months, so there’s really no telling what else may come from The Golden Era God.
